Starter Pack 1.0.1
One of the modifications I found quite useful for Shop 2 was phpika's "Newbie pack." That modification was design to give new forum members a selection of items when they visited certain pages on a site. It needed a lot of tweaking to work in a way that I really liked, but it was a good concept, particularly for forum-based roleplaying games. Installing it reduced compliant messages about not having items and worthless spam posts that tried to build up cash.
Starter Pack is a new modification, inspired by the concept of "Newbie pack," aimed at fulfilling the same goals for Shop 3. It will award a set of items to forum members on their first visit to shop.php. The set of items is defined in the Administration Control Panel, along with some other controls like an on/off switch and the URL used to redirect members after receiving their starter pack. All forum members can also be set up to receive another starter pack or be marked as having already received their pack from the ACP interface.
