Contact List 0.3.1

Contact List is an modification that adds the combined features of a buddy list, an ignore list, and a "disallow contact" list. A Control Panel is also included, which allows forum members to manage their lists, view others that have added them as a buddy, and access other features. Each type of list provides many features that members may find useful.

Features

• Contact List Control Panel
  • Manage lists: add or remove members, or move between lists.
  • Set alert preferences for buddies.
  • All changes must be confirmed before they are actually made.
  • Sort lists by username, in descending or ascending order.
  • Receive private message notification when you are added to a member's buddy list.
• Buddy List Features
  • A "Buddies" button is available when sending a private message. Clicking it launches a new window that lists the user's buddies and their online/offline status.
  • Be alerted via pop-up window when your buddies come online or go offline.
• Ignore List Features
  • Ignored members cannot send you private messages or e-mail via the forum.
  • Whenever possible, ignored members or their comments are not displayed to you. Includes their posts and quotes attributed to them.
  • On pages that hide something regarding ignored members, a link will be presented that allows you to view the page with the hidden material.
• Disallow List Features
  • Disallowed members cannot view your contact information (PM, website, e-mail, and instant messengers) in the member list, topics, and profile.
  • Disallowed members cannot send private messages or e-mail (via the board) to you.
  • No content is hidden from you.
• Other Features
  • New FAQ page to help users understand how to use the lists.
  • Links to add or remove a user from each list in users' posts, profiles, and the member list.
  • Supports Nivisec's Admin Hacks List.
  • Administrators and Moderators cannot be ignored or disallowed.
