Effects Store for Shop 3 { 1.2.2 } Help ?

^ for some reason, the "Special Effects" shows up twice along with the Special Effects shop that I named. I cannot edit them in any way in the Shop Settings. How can I make these disappear? :/

It sounds like the database installer was run several times. The easiest way to resolve this would be to run the uninstall portion of the installer. You might have to do that several times to clear all of these out. Then you can run the install portion again to reinstall the database changes.

This would erase any effects that have been purchased, though. The only other option is to use phpMyAdmin or another similar utility to manually remove the duplicate entries.

Now when I try to access the shop or the shop admin, it says 'Fatal Error retrieving shop list!' T_T

I reinstalled the database portion. I'm using the latest version of the shop mod... it worked before I installed it too many times, making it appear more, but now it doesn' twork at all, even after i re-installed it. When I access the shop it says 'unable to delete temp. items' and when i access the shop settings it still says what i posted up there.

The "Unable to delete temporary items!" would be unrelated to Effects Store, as it doesn't mess with that stuff at all. I would say you're not using the latest version of the Shop mod, as the "Fatal Error retrieving shop list!" error isn't in the last two versions released.

It's possible your tables might be damaged somehow, if so this may correct that.

Oh :s I thought it was the latest. ><" so how do I go about upgrading my version ? Are there instructions on the latest version {is that available on this site} / where can I download the latest version?

So that might also be the reason that the bank hack is not working too ?

I'm thinking of installing a new messageboard. I'll make a new subdomain and install PHPbb on there with all the hacks I wanted to install. Do you know anywhere where I can get instructions to transfer the database I'm using with my current forums to the new forums or possibly have it work with both to ensure no downtime? Or could you tell me / refer me to a place that can tell me ><" thanks.

I reinstalled the shop and it worked fine. I then installed the bar hack. However, one of my users reported to me that when they clicked on the profile link {which is profile.php?mode=editprofile} it came to a blank page. What page would I have to edit to make this page appear again?

That page is controlled by includes/usercp_register.php. Any problem is most likely there, but it could also be in includes/usercp_avatar.php or includes/functions_validate.php.

EDIT // Actually - didn't want to make another thread! Um. For the Bar Hack, whenever I add the intoxication length in the short description to any number, the page shop_bar.php appears blank. When you change it back to letters, it comes back. How can I fix this?
