Question: Can Prillian sit in my system tray?
Answer: No. Prillian is a PHP script designed to run in a web environment. In other words, Prillian has to be on a web server or web site to work and runs in your web browser like a normal web site. The ability to sit in the system tray is simply beyond Prillian's power, which is limited to that of your web browser.


Question: Can Prillian show an entire conversation like AOL Instant Messenger?
Answer: Not yet. This feature is expected to be added in Prillian 1.0.0, which will be the next major Prillian release.


Question: My users are getting an error about themes_id! What does this mean?
Answer: It means that the theme that Prillian is trying to use doesn't exist in the database. You might have deleted a theme that someone was using, and prior to version 0.7.0, Prillian didn't add code for updating users' Prillian theme choices. Make sure the default theme in the Prillian General Configuration is set to an existing theme and that the themes_id column in the phpbb_im_prefs database table is also set to an existing theme for every user. "Existing themes" can be defined as any value in the themes_id column in the phpbb_themes table.


Question: What versions of phpBB does Prillian support?
Answer: Prillian is tested on phpBB 2.0.6 only. It may or may not work on phpBB 2.0.5. Earlier releases may have errors or FIND code that is slightly different. Prillian also seems to work well on versions of phpBB later than 2.0.6 also, but has not been officially tested on those.


Question: I followed the instructions exactly, but the links on my board are messed up. What happened?
Question: I can't find the lines to edit in templates/xxxx/xxxx.tpl! What do I do?
Answer: Almost every template is different. The instructions provided in Prillian's install docs apply only to the subSilver template. While you should still make an effort to apply those changes to other templates, you will have to use you best judgement in adapting the changes to fit your theme. I only provide instructions for subSilver because it is the default template that all phpBB forums can be expected to have had at one time.


Question: Where can I get future versions of Prillian or add-ons for Prillian?
Answer: See the bottom of the readme.txt file. Some "unofficial" add-ons (meaning I have nothing to do with them) like IAI for Prillian may be available at phpBBHacks.com.


Question: Can I add Prillian (or one of your other modifications) to a premodded phpBB product?
Answer: The modifications released on this site are distributed under the GNU General Public License. In other words, yes, you may, so long as you don't charge for the product. You don't even have to ask my permission or tell me about it, but that would be nice.


Question: What happened to "phpBB Instant Messenger"?
Answer: I didn't like the name. Mostly, I didn't like having "phpBB" in the name. It sort of implied that phpBB approved of the project and it also limited my future options (don't ask). So now it's Prillian, in a tribute to my favorite IM program, "Trillian."
