Can't add buddies

I'm having trouble with this hack; it works fine on one box, but not on the other. Both run phpBB 2.0.11. Anyway, no one one can add buddies, but they do show up if I add them manually via SQL.

There was a link to a thread here but it seems to be gone.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'm going to make a new release of the hack within the next few days to fix this problem once and for all. Hopefully I'll have it ready tomorrow; I need to do a test install.
