Hi!
It would be a great hack for me, easy to install! but it doesnt work here.... I get the following error message: Warning: copy(./../images/avatars/gallery/***/folder_big.gif): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/httpd/vhosts/***/httpdocs/Forum88/mods/uploader/class_auu.php on line 688 File upload failed! What am i doing wrong??? |

Welcome to phpBB Smith!
You need to change the permissions of your images/avatars/gallery/ folders, either through a manager like C-Panel or an FTP client's CHMOD command. The folders have to be set to 777 before files can be uploaded to them. |

You reply fast man! Thanks for the fast reply. I am pretty good with phpbb and stuff, a small part with mySQL but I'm a mess when it comes to ftp and stuff... I can get to phpmyadmin if that's what you mean? What needs to be set to 777? Thanx |

No, unfortunately phpMyAdmin won't be useful for this.
 Usually it has to be done through whatever program you use to upload files to your site. Many of them have a CHMOD command in the menu if you right click on a file that's on the server.
