Effects shop severe problem.

After attempting to install the effects shop, I realized that it was not working, because all my links turned into blank white pages.

I was pretty sure I coded everything correctly.

Anyways, I reversed everything and deleted all files, uninstalled from the database, and managed to revive viewtopic.

However, I undid everything, yet my Memberlist, Register and Profile pages are still white pages. This is a big problem, as the Register page is quite important. =x

What did/am I do/doing wrong?

I would like to install this mod, but if it's going to mess up my forum like this, I don't know. =\

Note : Unfortunately, I thought this would be a breeze to install, therefore I did not back any files up. That was my fault, and I'm hoping there is a way to fix this without having to replacing the files/any files.


I uploaded blank original php files and re-modded those again, and now it works. I just want to know what's causing this problem so I can avoid it and install it sucessfully.

It's really hard to say what went wrong, because anything could cause blank pages and there's no indication of what did it. Generally it can mean a file wasn't uploaded, some database changes weren't done, or some edits were added incorrectly. But it can also be a hundred other things. I always dislike these situations because they're almost impossible to track down without going through each step of the install to see where the error triggers.

When you install the mod, follow all the steps carefully. Use the premodded files as a guide to see how the edited files should look.
