[DEV] Super Slot Machine

I'm currently working on a new slot machine mod that will be compatible with Shop 3 and Xore's Cash mod. I wanted to open up a topic to hear any ideas that anyone may have for that. I want to try to duplicate most of the features in the old Slot Machine and Slot Machine item add-ons and add some new stuff as well.

What I'm currently planning to include is the following:

• "Prize groups" which will allow the spending of different items and currencies to get different prizes. You would be able to create several prize groups, so you could have lots of different Shop items that could be spent on the slot machine.
  
• Support for all Cash mod currencies, not just user_points.
  
• A "jackpot" feature, that allows someone to win all the cash spent on previous non-winning plays. This would be tied into the prize groups, to allow several different jackpots of you wanted.
  
• Four rewards per prize group. There would be one each for a match of three common, uncommon, rare, or very rare pictures. Jackpots would take the place of the very rare reward. When using Shop items, you could define several items and one would be selected randomly.
  
• Possibly more rewards for partial matches (2 out of three for uncommon, rare, and very rare). I'm not sure about this; I might drop the idea.

Does anyone have any additional ideas or features they'd like to see?

Hey Thoul, it's mumbles from Zarath's forum. Scratch tickets are huge on my site, and I've already hacked Zarath's mod to allow for more than one type of ticket (odds & win.)

There was also an add-on to make it work with Shop 2:

The problem with the add-on is that it doesn't include install instructions, just pre-modded files. There was an update to the Slot Machine after the add-on, so that's a bit of a pain to get them working together.

If the download links in those old topics don't work, let me know and I'll upload the files here for you. I still have a bunch of this stuff.

but then i didn't know anything about php

I didn't like it too much, because all members kept winning if they played for longer time I tried to make higher price and other manipulations with winnings, but it made this game less interesting, because of small winnings and so on.

I think i'm gonna think how to make it more attractive:
different bids (influencing winning size);
possibility to win items (just with regular bid);
its just some thoughts at the moment what appeared in my head when i looked through code

Ok i'm working on it, i'll send you modified files if you want, just need to remember theory of chances, it was about 5 years ago in university, but i still have some sketches
