Plans for the future of Prillian

I'm planning to release Prillian 0.7.1 sometime this month. This version will most feature bugfixes for problems that were common with 0.7.0. No new features are planned. There may also be some security improvments along the lines of those made in phpBB since the last Prillian release; I haven't looked at that aspect of the new version yet.

The next major release will be Prillian 1.0.0 Alpha, a total rewrite of Prillian. The idea here is to release a "complete" version of Prillian, meaning it has nearly all the features that Prillian might ever include. It will be some time before 1.0.0 Alpha is released.

As for Prillian Lite, it's officially discontinued, and I've even pulled down it's page in the Mods and Hacks section here. The spirit of Prillian Lite - the goodness of Prillian without all the extra bells and whistles - will be incorporated in Prillian 1.0.0.

I don't know if your open to suggestions, if it is plausible or long been thought out. But what would really be sweet to me to see is the complete conversation on one screen per subject. Scrolling if it gets long.

As admin I sometimes get multiple IMs going and just plain forget something said.

Yeah, that kind of thing is something I'm going to implement in 1.0.0. It's been requested more times than I can count, so I'm gonna do what I can with it.

Will the new versionof prillian be compatible with a self delete acount hack etc?
with other words my users can delete ther own acounts with the previous versions i get dublicate user id errors if 1 user had delete his acount and a new user was trying to register.
Coult you please notify me when prillian is compatible with this en dussent make those error's again? contact list works greate on my system i'm just waiting for te prilian

That's one of the things I'm planning to work into Prillian 1.0.0.

I know in these crazy times is something hard to find at times.

The Jabber being pushed on phpBB is indeed nice. But I can tell you a lot of my members would much prefer Prillian 1.0.0 Alpha.

Yeah... I got a good start on it, but then my time got taken up by some other things. Right now I'm concentrating on moving the rest of the site to this domain and getting the new demo board up and running. I'm going to do some minor updates to my other hacks to get them all compatible with the current phpBB as best I can, and then dive back into Prillian.

Well... Prillian 1 didn't happen as planned, due to other (paid) projects and work. Prillian is pretty much in limbo right now as a result of the same.

Another update... Prillian 1 is a dead project now. I lost the whole thing due to a computer failure this summer. I hope to due a smaller update of Prillian at some point, but there are no concrete plans at the moment.
