Ok a little problem with prillian and new registers

ok, now after a new member registers, they are linked back to the index to log in.....once they try to log in and click submit they get this error
......this only happens for new registrees....all other members work fine

if i enter this sql into the db it enters successfully but then when i try the username again to login i get the same error but with one number higher......358

does work fine!

In my case the problem in fact derives from Private Control Panel with its own register code so that new users are not considered in the preferences table.
