Hello, I was getting confused from Zarath's place so I thought I'd ask here instead.
Zarath said that was it. But as I was installing the effects mod with easymod, I saw this...
So he told me to ask here instead since he didn't write the MOD. Thanks. Regards, |

Effects Store hasn't been tested with EasyMod. I generally don't recommend using EasyMod due to it's problems with installing mods on a forum that has already been heavily modified.
That said, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be compatible. I don't really know what criteria are used to determine a yes/no for that column, though. I suppose the Copy steps in Effects Store might cause it to fail. |

I suppose the Copy steps in Effects Store might cause it to fail. The copy commands are usually no problem for Easy mod. Especially when you have the FTP setup. However, when I try to install Effects Shop using easy mod, I get this error message: Code: Critical Error IN-LINE AFTERADDFAILED: Malformed script. An IN-LINE FIND was not previously performed. MOD script line #548 I would love for it to eventually be fixed. Whenever I try to install any mod manually, things have a tendency to go horribly wrong. |

Thanks for the note, I'll add an extra step in the next release to clear that up. There's another one that would probably trigger a similar error, so I'll do something with it also.
I was unsure about the copy steps because I know they don't match phpBB.com's requirements. I'm not sure how strict EasyMod is on those. The copy step should be more compliant in the next release, though. |

Currently I'm not sure if even phpbb.com knows what it takes to be easymod compliant.
I believe they are still in the planning stages of a guide to explain the best way to get mods to be Easy Mod compliant. |

Yeah, I was mainly speaking of their requirements to get into their downloads database. I know the original author of EasyMod was going to be very unstrict about making EasyMod stick to those, but I don't know the thoughts of the current EasyMod developers in that area.
