since installing Prillian, the "Look Up User" function no longer works (from ACP or Private Messages) - here is the error that comes up.

why is the search function looking in the prillian table as opposed to the original users table?
how can i correct this

Upgrade to Prillian 0.7.1. It fixed this issue.

ok will do that, i have d/l the zip from sourceforge & read the "upgrade.txt" and "changelog.txt". ... so as i understand it all that is needed is to edit each of the files listed in the changelog to upgrade to v0.71.

Changed Files List:
admin_styles.php, contact.php, class_contact.php, contact_common.php,
functions_im.php, prill_common.php, network_parse_body.tpl,
imclient_admin_log_body.tpl, log_body.tpl

problem is that i have no idea what changes are needed to each of the 9 files. i'd appreciate something along the lines of a instruction which says go to file A and edit this line or that line ....etc. if this seems like a stupid question, but i am absolutely lost without some specific instructions - the alternative is to go through each line of code, one by one til i identify any changes in the new versions. admin_styles.php is almost 1000 lines of code long & i really don't want to do that. please help me?

Other than admin_styles.php, those are all Prillian files. You can just replace the existing ones with the new files. For the admin_styles.php change, just find the existing code in that file (search for "Prillian") and replace it with the new code in file_edits.txt.

worked like a charm Thoul - ty for providing simple instructions for what at first appeared to be a very complicated task.
